As the celebrations for Chinese New Year in Los Angeles are kicking off, we're doing everything we can to make sure the Year of the Monkey is a memorable one. And call us superstitious, but we tend to take our fortune cookie messages very seriously. The only thing that could make a delicious dim sum meal even better would be to find LA-specific fortunes nestled inside our crispy, after-dinner treats, so we put together a few fortunes we could imagine getting at any of the great restaurants from Chinatown to the San Gabriel Valley.
