3 LA apartments with awesome outdoor spaces

Even though it might be a little chilly outside this week, summer is pretty much here. If you have the money, then one of these apartments may be the ideal place to bronze yourself, barbecue, do laps in the pool and yes, drink your face off with friends, neighbors and the management staff (well, maybe not the management staff).

1. Los Feliz cottage (4311 Kingswell Ave GH). If you're an Eastsider who likes to escape the craziness of LA, this place is perfect. The 800 foot one-bedroom, one-bathroom red cottage is positioned on a tree-lined street in Los Feliz Village. It comes furnished inside and out, and the patio is ideal for those who love to have their peace and quiet but also enjoy being the host with the most. Rent: $3,000/month

cottage deck, outdoors

2. Downtown rooftop party (1010 Wilshire Boulevard). If you've ever spent the night at the Standard Downtown, this is pretty much the same thing (but maybe a bit less douchey). Super modern with badass views of DTLA. Throw a party on the rooftop, and you'll be the baller you've always acted like on first dates but were secretly just putting on as a front. Rent: $2900/month

downtown, rooftop

3. Marina view (13900 Marquesas Way). "Ooooh, that smell. Can't you smell that smell?" Well, it's the ocean. And this 1168 square foot apartment is right on it (well, the Marina at least). It's also full of amenities, and you can even rent bikes from the building. This is kind of why Westsiders don't like to go east of the 405. Rent: $4100-4600

marina del rey, apartment, pool
