20 photos of Death Valley wildflowers in full bloom

Although the colorful yellow, white and purple plants are usually associated with spring, wildflowers are bringing Death Valley National Park to life earlier than usual this year. Since the beginning of January, the flowers have started blooming, and they are expected to stick around through March or early April at lower elevations, and April or May at higher points. Predictions are cropping up that this year's El Niño storms could bring about one of the most fantastic seasons in recent memory. Until we take a trip out there in person, let's sit back and watch natures beauty bloom through these photos:
