Have you checked the weather forecast this weekend? Damn, guys. We're talking high-90s and into the triple digits until it backs off to a cool 91 degrees on Monday. You could hide out in your air-conditioned apartment for the next couple of days, but we know you better than that. Instead, check out our list of things to do—new dishes, renovated pools and more—to stay cool this weekend. Oh, and wear sunscreen.

1. Skip the rice bowls and instead order an Iced Buko, a frozen coconut push-pop, from Filipino eatery Rice Bar Downtown.

2. Cannonball into the newly renovated pool at the Hollywood Rec Center (Bonus: There is a water slide!).

3. Sweat it out with Angel City Brewery's recently released Srirachelada.

4. Escape to the heavily air-conditioned TCL Chinese 6 theater for the Hollyshorts Film Festival.

5. Sip on a La Quinceañera, Gracias Madre's tequila snow cone with kiwi, mint and lemon. Don't forget the chips and guac.

6. Head to a Korean spa (these are our favorites) and go straight to the ice room. A few minutes in there and you'll be begging for a sauna.

7. Visit a beach you've never been to—here are a list of excellent ones to try.

8. Defy summer traditions and head to an ice skating rink, like the Pasadena Ice Skating Center. They're still open in August, you know.

9. Order a Dole Whip from one of these spots without sweating it out at Disneyland.

10. Duck into the VODBOX at Nic's Beverly Hills, where you'll down shots of chilled vodka in room set to a cool 28 degrees.
