Nineties throwback vibes—just peep the Nickelodeon characters all over the back wall—and showstopping cocktails have made this Santa Monica bar a great casual hangout spot to toss back a few on the Westside. The playful drink menu makes ample use of a gravity bong and aromatic terpenes in a nod to the members-only cannabis dinner series also held on-site. No THC is needed, however, to relax and enjoy the well-balanced fruity cocktails at Nostalgia, where chef-owner Chris Sayegh’s selection of bar bites includes throwbacks like a housemade Push Pop. For maximum theatrics, order the Apples to Oranges, a smooth distillation of bourbon whiskey, apple brandy, blood orange liqueur and apple cinnamon syrup.
