Fleur Room

The prices are high (upwards of $23 per drink) and the lights are low at this reservation-only Sunset Strip cocktail lounge that debuted in early August. With a club-like atmosphere and surprisingly well-made boozy showstoppers, WeHo's Fleur Room has already attracted the usual tryhard crowd you might expect from Tao Group Hospitality concepts (like sibling Lavo Ristorante next door). Still, despite running on the sweeter side, the cocktails here justify their premium cost, from the Cotton Cloud 9 (vodka, St-Germain, fresh lime, grapefruit and bright blue cotton candy) to the Buona Notte—the house take on the ever-popular espresso martini. Open only Thursdays through Saturdays from 10pm onwards, Fleur Room hopes to be the more upscale, grown-up counterpart to your next big night out in West Hollywood—even if the typical crowd after midnight begs to differ.
