Horse racing is so passe—the new animal to watch is the turtle. Every first and third Thursday of the month at Brennan's, turtles are gathered outside for racing starting at 8:30pm. All participants must adhere to the bar's strict racing rules: For example, any turtle caught using performance-enhancing drugs will be disqualified and prohibited from further racing.
