Tucked inside Santa Monica's Memorial Park, The Cove draws skaters and bikers of all levels and ages with 20,000 square feet of smooth concrete. Given that it was constructed in the city where the Z-Boys first revolutionized skateboarding, it's no surprise that the name of this skatepark nods to its history. Named for The Cove at Pacific Ocean Park, the former surf spot of the Z-boys before they turned to skateboarding, this old school-style skatepark is equipped with ramps, bowls, stairs, rails and more. Expect to pay a first-time registration fee and small daily rate ($3 to $5), though if you're a Santa Monica resident, you get a decent discount.
