Roundhouse Aquarium

While this pint-sized aqauarium can't compete with larger institutions, it more than makes up for it thanks to its location. Situated at the end of the Manhattan Beach Pier, the free, two-story structure houses touch pools and tanks with eels, starfish, jellyfish, octopus and more. In additition to its specimens, the aquarium and research lab also hosts parties, field trips and a summer camp.
