Museum of Ventura County

Formerly known as the Pioneer Museum, the Museum of Ventura County celebrates and preserves the county's local history and culture. It houses an extensive research library, seasonal and permanent exhibitions as well as children's programs in partnership with local schools. The museum's Fine Art and Historical Artifacts collection displays over 30,000 works of art from local artists and historical figures—a guaranteed thrill for history buffs and culture mavens.
