See blacklit curtains and lightboxes of glass beads displayed in an observatory more than a mile above L.A. at this LACMA-presented exhibition. Artist Sarah Rosalena’s works, presented within the ground-floor perimeter of Mount Wilson Observatory’s 100-inch Hooker telescope, pay homage to the venue’s celestial discoveries, as well as the women who computed the data behind these findings and the Tongva people who originally inhabited the surrounding land. If you’ve never ventured up to Mt. Wilson before, LACMA has put together a helpful FAQ on some driving and parking tips.
