GR2 Art Gallery

Considered the birthplace of Asian-infused pop culture, legendary Japanese otaku zine-turned-retailer Giant Robot launched the GR2 Gallery to focus on art and creative wares – tees by Barry McGee, plush dolls by Takashi Murakami, you get the idea. With a roster of talent that is a who’s who of the street art world, this gallery is ground zero of cool. With solo shows by Mari Inukai, Deth P. Sun, Katsuya Terada, Edwin Ushiro, and Yoskay Yamamoto, as well as compelling group shows like Game Over, owner Eric Nakamura has evolved from manga- fueled fanboy into serious aesthete.
