LA-born, self-taught artist Alex Prager opens a photography show at M+B gallery in Beverly Hills—and you'll want to get lost in the crowds she photographs. Her large portraits of crowded scenes (from beachscapes to lobbys and train stations) are elaborately staged and absorbing. The works in this exhibiton at M+B were created for her first solo museum show at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Her works can be seen all over the world at MoMA, the Whitney, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and more.
