More than 20 comedians, along with Keith Lemon, will be crammed on to the bill at the O2 for C4’s latest charity laughathon (when they’re not standing up to cancer, they’re holding a secret policeman’s ball for Amnesty). This one’s in aid of Great Ormond Street and features everyone from Adam Hills to Nina Conti, and Josh Widdicombe to Paul Chowdry.

The megawatt stardom will be provided by Messrs Brand and McIntyre, while the spectre of ‘Strictly’ raises its unwelcome head as Alan Carr, Miranda Hart and Warwick Davis dance alongside Diversity. Your sides aching yet? Still, all in a good cause and all that and Friday night telly’s going through a bit of a lull just now, so there will certainly be worse ways to while away your evening.
