Time Out says

London Transport Museum's drop-in activities for families over the summer consist of weekly challenges that take place on a giant map of London. Each week sees a new activity, with young navigators collecting stamps for each completed task in a special passport. Jul 25-29: 'The Start Line', a workshop to build a vehicle using card and glue; Aug 1-5: 'Making Tracks', activities inspired by maps and mapping; Aug 8-12: 'Thames Construction', a look at building methods followed by a chance to construct a bridge, boat or cable car; Aug 15-19: 'Teetering Towers', a challenge to build a mini observation tower using household objects; Aug 22-26: 'Safer by Design', a challenge run in partnership with Transport for London's Safety and Citizenship's 'Be safe week'; Aug 29-Sep 2: the finale of Young London Navigators is a challenge to build a capital city of the future, filling the museum's giant map with buildings, vehicles, people and pets. Under-12s must be accompanied. Age 5+.
