Yinka Shonibare's Deloitte Ignite 2012 Africa Weekend

Artist Yinka Shonibare curates a weekend of talks, screenings, performances and others events, many of which are family friendly, at the Royal Opera House including: Fri: a talk by the artist (6-7pm, free), performance by Afrobeat co-founder Tony Allen and others (8pm, £25, concs £20); Sat & Sun: drumming workshops (2.15-3pm, 3.30-4.15pm) and storytelling (3.15-4pm, 4-5pm) by IRIE! dance theatre, 'Africa on the Piazza' screenings (various times).
