You might take the tube to Russell Square, but you'll be stepping back more than a century when you walk through the doors of UCL's Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology. Just for an evening, the museum will be hosting a mini festival of fun shenanigans, including fortune telling inspired by Astrampsychos (a fourth century Persian astrologer), 3D postcard making workshops, an 1880s-1920s disco with themed food and drink, and chance to explore the museum's Cabinet of Curiosities. Talks will also be held by Roger Luckhurst on occult mappings of London and John J Johnston on Egyptian horror in British film and television.
