Time Out says

Bluebird Pictures hosts the first ever World Cinema Film Festival in Barking and Dagenham. Head along for a day packed with screenings of critically acclaimed short films from around the world that represent the different cultures in the east London borough, including ‘House-Girl’, by British-Ghanaian filmmaker Koby Adom, ‘Close-Ties’ by Polish filmmaker Zofia Kowalewska and ‘The School Bag’ by Indian filmmaker Dheeraj Jindal. There'll also be guest talks from the director of photography from Game of Thrones and Steve Toussaint who's starred in ‘Prince of Persia’ and ‘Death in Paradise’. If you're feeling peckish grab a bite from the local food stalls including Mr Nice Nice Caribbean food, a Taste of Afrika and Sparkling Cakes.
