Time Out says

Celebrate the game-changing women of the world during this two day summit showcasing an international line-up of extraordinary females. Hear from activists, artists, peacemakers, journalists and entrepreneurs as they talk, debate and share insight into the stories and issues that have brought them to the conference stage. Thursday night highlights include a panel discussion with Meryl Streep, Carey Mulligan and Sarah Gavron on new film 'Suffragette', and a talk from Germany's first ever woman Federal Minister of Defence, Dr Ursala von der Leyen. First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon will be interviewed on Friday as well as Mhairi Black who was elected to the House of Commons earlier this year, becoming the youngest MP at the age of 20. Nobel Peace Laureate, Leymah Gbowee will discuss her ongoing human rights mission to improve the life of women and girls, and Yeonmi Park will share her story of escaping human trafficking, followed by her torturous trek for freedom across the Gobi Dessert. Book tickets in advance via the Women in the World event page.
