Time Out says

The BFI’s annual summit returns to its Southbank location on the last weekend in January, and it’s promising a fantastic programme of talks and panels all based around all the biggest conversations we’ve had in the year: think romcoms, girl memes, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé. Guest speakers include actor Joanna Scanlan (‘No Offence’ and ‘Getting On’), composer Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch (BIFA nominated pianist), critic Ellen E Jones (who writes for the Guardian) and a panel of Muslim Women Filmmakers featuring Warda Mohamed, Shaheen Baig, Myriam Raja and Sara Harrak, who will discuss their experiences of navigating the industry. For more information and details about the programme, have a look at the website below.
