Tottenham’s Bernie Grant Arts Centre is turning Windrush Day into a multi-day celebration with a night of slow jams hosted by the ‘Queen of Lovers Rock’, Carroll Thompson, and two family-friendly festivals in the venue’s outdoor square. If you’ve never been to Bernie Grant, now is the time. The programming is top-notch, and there’s even a tiny cinema.
