To mark the start of autumn at Southbank Centre, we are offering Time Out readers the chance to stay in A Room For London, the wonderful one-bedroom architectural installation on the roof of Queen Elizabeth Hall. Taking the form of a riverboat, this is one of the most incredible places to spend a night with views over the Thames and London.
Over the next few months Southbank Centre brings together hundreds of artists, communities and partners to create even more festivals including; Discover Indonesia (Sep 5–6), two days of music, puppetry, dance, talks and food; Africa Utopia (Sep 10–13), including performances from Orchestra Baobab and Tony Allen as well as theatre, talks and debates and African street food; and London Literature Festival (Sep 28–Oct 12) with highlights including Terry Gilliam and the world premiere of a collaborative book by PJ Harvey and Seamus Murphy plus talks, readings, comedy, poetry, films, music and free events.
