Signing up for any fun run involves a bit of looking like a wally, but for this one you'll really have to get used to it. Walk, jog or run the 5km or 10km course in Clapham Common, dressed as Martin Handford's cheerfully elusive creation along with hundreds of other Wallys. All funds raised will go to the National Literacy Trust, who will use it to help disadvantaged children learn to read and write. The £27 registration fee includes your 'Where's Wally?' costume and a medal on completion, and the event is open to all aged eight and over. A 1k children's run is also open to those 12 and under, beginning half an hour before the adult 5k kicks off. Friends and family are welcome to come and cheer you on, though we have no idea how they'll spot you. Visit the National Literacy Trust website to register.
