The National Theatre's six-week festival of outdoor street theatre, dance and cabaret goes walkabout for 2014 as the NT's red new temporary theatre is sat just where the festival used to run. As a result, the Watch This Space festival hub is at St John's Church on Waterloo roundabout. But it does go even further afield, heading out to Brockwell Park, Brixton Market and Peckham Square as well as the Aylesbury Estate in Walworth. As always with Watch This Space, there are a huge number of varied acts, most of them free and performed en plein air throughout the day. Highlights include rockstar hairdressing show 'Sienta La Cabeza' from Catalonia with musical fun (St John's Churchyard, Jun 27, 28, 29); impromptu clothes tailoring from women on a bicycle with 'The Mobile Sewing Company' (St John's Churchyard, Jun 28 & 29); 'Micro-Shakespeare', an interactive puppetry show (St John's Churchyard, 18 July. Brockwell Park, Jul 20) and a Charlie Chaplin-inspired piece 'The Strongman' from Bash Street Theatre (St John's Churchyard, Jul 18 & 19). For full listings visit www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/wts
