Time Out says

Start the new year with a good ol’ song and dance at this traditional Twelfth Night celebration to mark the end of the Christmas season. This singing-sesh in East Greenwich Pleasaunce park is keeping things old school by holding the event in the park orchard (traditionally wassailing was a way to bless the fruit trees and ask for a good harvest in the coming year). Meet at the cafe to hear tunes from Halstow Community Choir, watch dancing by Greenwich Morris and join a wassail procession with drums and pots and pans (you can even bring your own). There’ll also be craft stalls to make your own ‘Wassail Crown’, hot drinks, wine and cider.
