VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas), celebrates 55 years of sending volunteers abroad with an evening of classic carols from the City of London Choir, music on the sarod (an Indian stringed instrument) by Soumik Datta, plus seasonal readings from David Suchet, Hayley Mills and Gryff Rhys Jones. All money raised from the event will go towards VSO’s work supporting some of the world’s poorest people in improving their lives and communities. There is a pre-concert reception at 5.45pm and the concert begins at 7pm.
