Volcanoes with Sir Tony Robinson

Presumably with his 'Time Team' hat on (we doubt Baldrick was into volcanoes) Sir Tony Robinson presents the fifth annual Stoneley Lecture, an exploration of the impact of volcanoes on human life through the ages. Expert volcanologists Dougal Jerram and Evgenia Ilyinskaya will join Robinson to discuss geology, archeology, plate techtonics and ancestors' perception of volcanic power. A Q&A will follow, as well as the chance to handle a number of specimens and see a 3D working model of a volcano. Booking recommended.
