Violet Nights is a new platform for young people to express their views on topical issues through music, performance and discussion. This instalment will be exploring how black women who shave their heads are depicted in the media and greeted at the barbershop. Join poet and artist Ruth Sutoyé for a screening of her film ‘Reign’ about black women who shave their heads.
