Victorian Christmas Activities at Tower Bridge Exhibition

A giant wooden advent calendar based on a Victorian toy gives young visitors the chance to open a door a day in the run up to Christmas. Kids are offered a sugar cane, one of which bears a mark entitling the holder to open the day's corresponding door on the calendar and reveal a traditional Christmas image (there are several opportunities to take part during each day). In addition, kids receive an 'adventurer's' certificate. The advent calendar is part of a Victorian-themed display of Xmas trees. There's also a letter-writing station where kids can compose their requests to Santa and post them in a Victorian-style post box. Age 4-12.
