Going in for veganuary? Or, just fancy a meat-free treat? OXO Tower Restaurant has a brand new Vegan Afternoon Tea for the new year. It's a plant-based take on a traditional cream tea with expertly-crafted vegan sweets, savouries inspired by classic tea sandwiches and tempting desserts with a vegan twist. Nibble on golden beetroot with aged balsamic in rosemary Russian rye bread, homemade ‘cheese’ and pickle finger sandwiches, chestnut and mushroom ‘sausage’ rolls and lemon tofu with sage and onion stuffing on cranberry bread, scones with clotted ‘cream’ and strawberry jam and mini lemon ‘meringue’ pies. Add prosecco for an extra tenner.
Vegan Afternoon Tea will be served at OXO Tower Restaurant Monday to Friday 3pm – 4.30pm, Saturday 3pm – 4pm and Sunday 3.45pm – 4.45pm.
