Urban Bee Keeping Workshops

This series of workshops at St Ermin's Hotel offer burgeoning beekeepers the chance to get to grips with the basics and visit London's first bee hotel where the venue's colony of Buckfast bees reside. This is also where bee guru Camilla Goddard invites small groups to join her, so that she can teach good keeping, handling, safety, feeding and beehaviour. After two and a half buzzing hours, participants will be rewarded with a honey cocktail in the Caxton Bar or a seasonal afternoon tea. All bee handling equipment, protective suits – and bees – provided. Over-tens are welcome if accompanied by a participating adult.
