Marilyn Monroe and celebrity photographer Milton H. Greene became firm friends after collaborating on a 1953 photo shoot. The glamorous actress would go on to sit for Greene over 50 times during the next four years, using their shoots to transform her image from "dumb blonde" into something more complex and enigmatic. This exhibition cherry-picks from Greene's archive of more than 5,000 Monroe images to give an intimate and fascinating insight into an enduring Hollywood icon.
