UK Panorama Steelband Competition

Did you really think you were going to see out the August Bank Holiday without hearing some steelpan? Not a chance. Carnival as we know it won’t be taking place, but the famous Panorama competition will be going ahead after its Covid-hiatus in 2020. Steelpan band Mangrove will be defending their title as the Panorama Champions of 2019, battling it out with Croydon Steel Orchestra, Ebony Steelband and Metronomes Steelband. Tickets are £15 and have to be booked in advance, but the cost goes straight to the bands.
