This festival of cold water swimming sees some very bold swimmers brace themselves for races in the almost literally freezing (as low as 1°C) waters of Tooting Bec Lido. Entries have sold out, but spectators can watch hardy souls head-up the breastroke race, a team relay or the individual freestyle dash instead. A Finnish sauna and hot tubs will be on hand to get rid of all the goosebumps and the Budgie Smuggler's Arms will serve hot toddies. The best hat will win some brilliant prizes and food stalls and poolside activities will keep spectators entertained between races.
