Luke Howard was an amateur meteorologist famous for naming the clouds. He also lived on Bruce Grove in Tottenham, though he's not as famous for that. Tottenham Ploughman are celebrating both facts with a one-day Cloudfest, featuring the chance to make your own cloud, meet the Cloud Appreciation Society, find out more about Howard and even eat a cloud (sort of – it's made of candy floss). There will also be tours of the Bruce Grove Youth Centre and its gardens, live music and local beer from the Redemption brewery. Apart from candy floss clouds, the food options include Peel and Chimney pizzas, Wildes cheese, Opera ice cream and baked goods from Flourish. The event is free.
