A late-night opening and talk at one of our favourite London eccentricities: Novelty Automation. Visitors will be able stay and play late on inventor Tim Hunkin's clever creations. Win a Nobel Prize at The Small Hadron Collider, get frisked by a pair of red rubber gloves, test your nerve against a terrifying dribbly dog or settle onto a magic carpet for an armchair-based microbreak. This is the first in a series of planned after-hours sessions (complete with a bar), at which Hunkin will talk visitors through one of his unusual works. This month he takes you behind the scenes of My-Nuke, the personal nuclear reactor. The event is free but space is limited so email info@novelty-automation to guarantee a place.
