Time Out says

Wispy-haired men in rainbow-coloured peace-symbol T-shirts will probably be few and far between at this Hackney tie-dye workshop. It’s fresh-faced hipsters (rather than ageing hippies) that are more likely to be found here, tying up their whites and wielding tubes of Dylon in a sort of post-grunge stab at an ironic fashion statement. Still, there should be space for the genuinely nostalgic/restless child/crafty type to learn the art of swirly fabric painting at Tie Dye High Five’s instructive session. The organisers will be teaching you how to tie dye, dip dye, and create the coolest tropical clobber around. Plain T-shirts will be provided as part of the ticket price along with a cocktail, and you can also BYOW (Bring Your Own Whites) to make use of the unlimited dyes.
