Tick and Twitch Walk

If you haven't had too late a night on New Year's Eve, start 2013 with an hour-long birdwatching walk, trying to spy some of the 180 species of bird that have been recorded at the Wetland Centre site. Keep an eye out for bitterns, common snipe, redwings and fieldfares, or rarities such as bearded tits and waxwings. The walk takes place whatever the weather, so wrap up warm.
