Chiswick House curator Esme Whitaker is lifting the lid on the women who made Chiswick tick in the 18th and early 19th century, delving into the lives of a slater, a supplier of artificial stone ornaments, and a housekeeper turned reluctant tour guide. Talks and tours begin at 2pm and 7pm.
