INQUEST, the only charity in the UK supporting families bereaved by deaths at the hands of the police, is the focus of Rainbow Collective’s new documentary, ‘The UK Is Not Innocent’. Through the film, directors Richard York and Hannan Majid explore 40 years of state violence and resistance in England and Wales via the voices of bereaved families, INQUEST staff, campaigners, lawyers and journalists. This special Rich Mix screening of the doc will be followed by a Q&A with Lee Lawrence, the son of Cherry Groce, who was shot by police during the 1985 Brixton riots.
