Three thousand ceramic buildings have been produced for artist Barnaby Barford's latest work 'The Tower of Babel' which sits six metres tall in the V&A's Medieval & Renaissance Galleries. Each china construction measures between 10-13cm and has a photograph of a real London shop fired onto its exterior. The miniature stores range from derelict units at that tower's base to luxury boutiques and galleries at its highest point, commenting on issues regarding society and economy in London.
