The Tales We Tell: Indian Warli Painting

This exhibition of Warli paintings (a tribal art form from Western India) is part of the V&A India Festival and celebrates the innovative work of Jivya Soma Mashe who popularised the style. Paintings on show draw on tribal memory, myths and everyday occurrences, and pieces by Mashe sit alongside work by his follower Ramesh Hengadi, members of his family and fellow artists.
