A network of more than 4,000 Beacons will be lit by communities and individuals throughout the United Kingdom, as well as the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Commonwealth, to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The Queen will light the last in the chain, the National Beacon in the Mall, from the concert stage at Buckingham Palace, by placing a diamond in a specially designed pod, at around 10.30pm. Visit the website to find out about local events. To find out what's on to celebrate The Queen's Diamond Jubilee visit: http://www.timeout.com/the-queens-diamond-jubilee
