The Oxford & Cambridge Goat Race festival was cancelled in March, but nothing will keep its pun-loving kids down. As a plan B, Spitalfields City Farm is replacing its most popular fundraising race with a ten-hour onine Goat Rave featuring live DJs, music, workshops, karaoke, storytelling, poetry, yoga and, most importantly, REAL GOATS.
The farm has been having a tough time in lockdown, and needs support to pay for vet bills and animal care. It is asking all goat ravers to pay what they can, and in return, it’ll treat you to a virtual goat meet-and-greet, a goat yoga session, a goat poetry session and a workshop where you’ll learn to make your own goat horns. It’s just another normal weekend in lockdown London.
