The Murder of Sanity and the Sanity of Murder

A conference organised by the Science Museum and the Institute of Psychoanalysis to examine how psychoanalysis can help us to understand the complexity of the human mind and why events that seem incomprehensible occur. Up for discussion are the connections between childhood trauma, drug addiction, psychosis and homicide, as well as murderousness and madness in literature and music.
