This one-of-a-kind festival celebrates one of the most globally produced and commercially successful genres in film and TV. That’s right, The London Action Festival is four whole days dedicated to the greatest car-racing, punch-throwing, walking-away-from-explosions thrill rides in cinema: action movies. As well as plenty of screenings from ‘The Mask of Zorro’ to ‘Enter the Dragon’, look out for Q&As from ‘Line of Duty’ writer Jed Mercurio, ‘Die Hard’ screenwriter Steven E de Souza, villains from the ‘John Wick’ franchise Mark Dacascos and Scott Adkins and composer Natalie Holt. There’ll also be special events dishing the secrets on how to direct an action film of your own. This fest is pumped up, loaded with ammo and in your face like Arnold Schwarzenegger on a bad day.
