Bring your knitting needles along to stich one, purl one and create an animal skin inspired by Ruth Marshall's knitted Tasmanian tiger. From 10am till 10pm visitors are invited to pop in, at lunch or after work with a glass of wine, and knit a menagerie of weird and wonderful creatures. Explore the museum's current exhibition 'Strange Creatures' and hear from co-curator Sarah Wade how natural history museums can use contemporary art and craft to engage with visitors.
