This restaurant and bar at Harrods has a bit of a reputation for its afternoon tea, served here with Harrods tea and the option of adding a flute of rosé Champagne, too. The venue has been doing this kind of thing since 1913 but recently had a fancy new makeover.
An all-day menu also features, with dishes ranging from chicken liver parfait with fig and hazelnut toast to club sandwiches, steak, egg and chips, grilled whole Dover sole and beef sirloin with half a lobster cooked on the Josper grill and served with spiced parsley butter. A traditional roast features on Sundays, too.
A dress code is in place, so look sharp.
