Time Out says

This month of screenings, workshops, talks, installations, music, family fun and more uses London's waterways as its platform. Canal boats and floating screens in various London locations will welcome visitors of all ages who are interested in science, space and aliens. Highlights include a weekender looking at space invasions in Bow (Aug 21-23), slime-mould workshops near Broadway Market (Aug 30), a talk on alien abduction in Hackney (Sep 10) and a weekender themed around humans in space in Granary Square (Sep 17-20). Many events are free but ticketing information can be found on the Floating Cinema website.
