Time Out says

Get aquatinted with the green fairy at this absinthe lecture at the always kooky Last Tuesday Society. Author Phil Baker will fill you in with facts about the hard stuff, beginning with the 1905 Absinthe Murders, its modest origins as a herbal tonic through its heyday in the late nineteenth century. Look out for names such as Baudelaire, Oscar Wilde, Aleister Crowley, Van Gogh, Ernest Hemingway and Picasso that will crop up throughout the night. A full menu of the green stuff will be available on the night. G’on live your decadent life. Find out more here
